Mount Pleasant Winery greets KXMS' Julie Ensor and Klassix Society Board chairperson Alice Mitchell at the 2007 Benefit Food & Wine Tasting for 88.7KXMS/Fine Arts Radio International

Q:  What if I don't really care for wine, would I enjoy the KXMS Benefit Wine Tasting?
A:  Absolutely, yes! This is a Food & WIne Tasting event. And whether or not you try the various wines,
there will also be that wonderful buffet. Besides, it's also a chance to enjoy the company of others who
listen to 88.7KXMS and to meet KXMS staff.

Q:  I can't attend the evening of March 28, can't I just send money in support of KXMS?
A:  We will miss you, but feel free to write a check or take advantage of the credit card option made
      possible by
the Klassix Society. Our mailing address is 3950 E. Newman Road, Joplin, MO 64801.
Contributions to KXMS are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Q:  Will my financial contribution really make any difference to KXMS?
A:  Most assuredly. Operating under reduced budgets, KXMS is reliant on your generous
individual support to help defray the cost of maintaining exceptional radio service. Quality classical/fine
arts programming does not come cheap. Our listeners demand good programming and providing good
programming has never been inexpensive. Additionally, KXMS needs to upgrade its studios and
streaming audio, and we must replace all of our 20-year-old equipment with HD equivalents.

Q:  Do wine tasters spit out their wine?
A:  Not at this event!
