Jim Jackson began his broadcasting career in 1977 at KCTE radio in Southwest City, Missouri. He joined KTVJ-TV in July 1980. KTVJ became KSNF in 1982.
Jim has served as the station's main 6 & 10 p.m. news anchor for more than 30 years. He served as its news director from 2007 until 2010.
Jim is a graduate of Missouri Southern State University. He served as an adjunt instructor of communications for 11 years at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri. He is a combat veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Navy during the early 1970's. Jim has taken an active role over the years in a variety of community efforts.
Jim lives in Neosho with his wife Susan.
