Danny Thomas is
President and General Manager of KOAM-TV. He was raised in
Joplin and attended Joplin schools and Missouri Southern State
University. He started is career in retail sales, before moving to
radio and television.
Thomas has been
with KOAM-TV for 22 years. He has served on the CBS Marketing
Board and has served as Chairman of the Board of the Kansas
Association of Broadcasters. His awards include Manager of the
Year for Saga Communications, and the Mike Oatman Award for Lifetime
Achievement in Sales, Marketing and Sales Mentoring from the Kansas
Association of Broadcasters.
Thomas currently
serves on the A.C. Nielsen Board and the St. John's Regional Medical
Center Board of Directors. He lives in Joplin with his wife
and son. |
