Professor Lewis is involved in getting the word out to local businesses that the International Trade & Quality Center at MSSU is there to help businesses in the area increase their revenues & profits from increased involvement in international trade. Dr. Lewis is also helping students from this area study overseas to help make them more employable in today s competitive job market. In addition, he helped organize and participated in three MSSU/ITQC Symposia this year on how cultural and language differences affect international business dealings. His education includes a Ph.D. in Marketing and International Business from the Graduate School of the University of Texas at Austin, a MBA in International Marketing from the University of Denver, and a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University Dr. Lewis specializes in teaching the managerial aspects of marketing and international business and operations. His research interests focus on business and marketing opportunities in developing nations in Latin America, Asia, and Europe. In addition to his activities at MSSU he is actively involved in a number of international marketing and management related organizations including the Academy of International Business, International Management Development Association, Society for the Advancement of Management, American Marketing Association and Southern Marketing Association. Dr. Lewis has worked with various police forces in Texas & Oklahoma in support and training areas thru their Citizen Police Academies. He is a Commander (Ret.) in the US Naval Reserve. Serving in logistics and defense planning for Europe and South Korea. He is also involved with MENSA & the United States Naval Academy.
