The Mullsjö Folkhögskola, established in 1950, is similar to an American community college. The school has an enrollment of 185 students – 60 of whom live in the residence halls – and 20 full-time faculty. Most of the Folkhögskola’s students come from the surrounding area, and 70 percent are female. Two main courses of study are available: general studies, with 80 students; and art, with 65 students. MSSU art students can select from ceramics, textiles, photography, drawing, and painting. Other available courses include economics, computer science, and international studies.
