scholarships

Missouri Southern Spanish Village offers a limited amount of scholarships based on financial need and academic achievement. A villager can only receive one scholarship per year, however scholarships may be used in conjunction with discounts.

The total of a scholarship and/or discounts cannot equal more than $350.00 for a day camper or $450.00 for a residential camper. Villagers who have previously received a scholarship based on financial need and/or academic achievement may re-apply for another scholarship, however, preference will be given to first-time applicants.

In order to be considered for a scholarship, all scholarship items must be submitted by April 30, 2010. All scholarship decisions will be made no later than May 14, 2010 and all applicants will be notified of the decisions via mail.

Financial Need-Based Scholarships

A total of six Financial Need-Based scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, a teacher recommendation, a student essay and the amount of taxable income using the table below. Three scholarships will awarded to day campers and three scholarships will be awarded to residential campers.

Under $15,000 = $300.00 / $400.00 scholarship = $150.00 total payment
Under $20,000 = $250.00 / $350.00 scholarship = $200.00 total payment
