— Introducing the I.E.P.

 日本語   中文   portuguese

The IEP at MSSU was established in 1999 and welcomes students from all over the world to come to learn English in an academic setting. The program offers focused language instruction for those who want to improve their English speaking, writing, and reading for academic, professional, or personal reasons.

Photo of two studentsThe Missouri Southern program is unusual for several reasons. First, it focuses on World English, using instructors who themselves are second language English learners in addition to native English speakers. Second, the program uses both classroom based and natural English learning situations such as conversation partnerships, community activities, reading groups and language supported community volunteer work. Our goal is to help you learn English through English use in comfortable, authentic settings.

Make learning English a path to new opportunities!
