The Université de Savoie has 12,000 students spread among its three campuses at Chambéry, Annecy, and le Bourget du Lac. Chambéry, the historic capital of the Savoie region, is situated amidst the magnificent scenery of the Alps. The city of 120,000 is three hours from Paris by TGV (high-speed train) and close to some of the best-known ski resorts in France. The exchange program is geared for MSSU business majors who wish to study commerce, tourism, international management, economics and finance, and communication/hypermedia (Annecy campus). An intensive French program begins on Sept. 1 every year, prior to the start of the fall semester.
