| Peter the Great cottage and bronze bust in St. Petersburg. The cottage, built in 1703, was home to Peter the Great during construction of the Peter and Paul Fortress. The stone structure enclosing the cottage was erected by Catherine the Great in 1784 to protect it from the elements. |
