International English Program

International English Program (IEP)

The International English Program welcomes students from all over the world.

Our comprehensive language learning program offers classes from beginning to advanced levels in all skill areas. Students will learn English in an academic setting during the day and have opportunities to practice their skills with planned social activities both on and off campus. The IEP offers courses in reading, composition, grammar, speaking and listening as well as classroom technology, American history and culture.

With hard work and diligence, you can complete our program in only one year. You will receive individual advising from Kimberly Kester, the program director. IEP specializes in small classes with highly qualified professors; your professors are available before and after classes to answer any questions you may have. Trained and experienced tutors are reserved for your use each week, at your convenience.

  • Every student has the opportunity to practice their English skills using the Rosetta Stone Language Learning Software in our Foreign Language Resource Lab.
  • The International Club at MSSU coordinates weekend and holiday activities for both American students who want to learn more about other counties and international students in the IEP.
