User Services holds regularly scheduled training sessions on the first Thursday of each month. Topics and duration will vary depending on the needs of participants. Individual or small group sessions can also be arranged at any time if you are unable to attend one of the Thursday sessions.
Detailed tutorials and other documents are available on the Banner Resources and Documentation website. You can access the site by clicking on the Banner Resources icon at the bottom right of the LioNet log in page.
At the time of your initial hire, you should have completed a basic training session with the Help Desk manager regarding systems and log-ins. You would have received your User ID and password at that time.
If you did not participate in a session with the Help Desk, and do not have your ID and password, please contact the Help Desk at extension 4444 to obtain that information.
Please use the contact information provided below to schedule further training as needed. Employees who use the Banner System (INB) in administrative offices will be trained on their specific job duties by other personnel in those offices.
You are encouraged to review the tutorials posted on Banner Resources. These tutorials are updated as any changes or enhancements to the system occur. Tutorials have a “Last Updated” date in the footer. If you have previously printed or downloaded a copy of documentation, please check the date to be sure you are using the most recent version.
Individual employees or a group from a department who would like to have further training or a review of Banner or LioNet are also encouraged to schedule an appointment.
