Missouri Southern State University: The Social Science Department invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in U.S. History. A strong secondary field in Asian History is required. The position requires a commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level; the course load is four courses per semester. A Ph.D. is preferred, A.B.D.s will be considered. This appointment will be contingent upon the availability of funds and is scheduled to begin August 2009. Screening will begin immediately and continue until a qualified candidate is selected.
