Missouri
Southern is affiliated with the National Collegiate Honors Council,
The Great Plains Regional Honors Council, and the Phi Eta Sigma and
Alpha Chi, national honor societies. Most Honors students have the
opportunity to participate in the activities of these organizations
and to attend other regional and national conferences.
Every Honors course students complete with a final grade of A or B
is identified as an Honors course on the transcript. If the Honors
students maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5
and complete 26 hours of Honors courses, they will receive special
recognition at graduating.
Upon graduation from Missouri Southern, your status as an Honors Program
graduate will give you a distinct advantage if you plan to attend
graduate or professional school.
