Regional Registration Checklist

MISSOURI REGION 6 Contest March 12, 2010
REGISTRATION DEADLINE FEBRUARY 6

Follow these steps to register for the Missouri Region 6 Contest:

  • Go here http://mo.nhd.org and click Online Registration.
  • Browse the online tutorials.
  • Once regional contest opens on January 5, create a teacher account.
    • Remember: Teachers must register before students. To register, you must set up an account with a login and password of your choice.
    • Registration closes February 6.
  • In your teacher account, enter your students’ basic information.
    • Remember: Tell your students the PIN you assign them. Each student needs a unique 4-digit pin!
    • Registration closes February 6.
  • Write down your username and password for safekeeping.
  • When you are finished, be sure to click on the green “Ready to Pay” button to complete and confirm the registration, even though there are no fees at the regional level.
  • Congratulations! You have completed registration and your students are now ready register!

Top entries from each division and category at the nine district competitions held throughout Missouri are eligible for the History Day in Missouri competition at the University of Missouri-Columbia on April 4, 2009.

Winners at the state competition advance to the National History Day Contest held at the College Park, MD, June 14-18, 2009.

Missouri Southern's Social Sciences Department provides other activities during the district contest.
