Giving

"I take pride in the degree that I earned from Missouri Southern. Education is a tool that has equipped me and my family for success. I believe it is important to help furture students attend MSSU as well. That's why I give to the Southern Annual Fund every year."

The Southern Annual Fund is an annual campaign that raises funds to support the teaching and service mission of Missouri Southern State University.
Donations are made by alumni, parents, faculty and staff members, corporations, and friends of the University who contribute to benefit the students of MSSU.

Unrestricted gifts are used to meet the greatest needs on campus and to address opportunities unmet by government funding or tuition including:

  • Scholarships,
  • Programs and
  • Facility development.

These funds are also used to provide financial awards for outstanding teachers, employees and advisors, as well as recognition for length of service.

The Phonathon has been the cornerstone of the Southern Annual Fund at MSSU for 30 years. Calling begins Saturday, February 25 and finishes Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Current MSSU students call from campus to alumni and friends.
