First-Year Student Emerging Leaders

The First-Year Experience Office recognizes first-year students as 'Emerging Leaders' each fall semester. Nominations are solicited from MSSU faculty and staff.

To be nominated and selected, first-year students must exhibit strong academic skills with commitment to course work and class participation; campus involvement outside the classroom; and extraordinary potential as a campus leader.

Emerging Leaders are also eligible to apply to serve as a University Experience 100 Course Assistant.
