Entrance And Exit Counseling Before continuing with Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling, Please read the following carefully so you will understand your loan.
All sources of student financial aid should be considered before resorting to loans. All loans are a serious legal obligation requiring special attention to the terms and conditions of the loan and should not be entered into lightly. You must repay the full amount of the loan with all accrued interest and deducted fees even if you do not complete your education, are unable to obtain employment upon completion, are dissatisfied with or do not receive the education or service you may have purchased from the college.
Federal regulations require first time freshmen borrowers to wait until 30 days after the first day of classes before any loans may be issued. If this is your first loan at Missouri Southern and you are NOT a freshman, you do not have to wait 30 days, however, you must complete proper entrance counseling. Before you go any further let us encourage you to do the following:
2. You need to read carefully all information concerning your loan. 3. You should complete the entrance counseling and take the test at the end. You can not stop at any time when taking the Stafford Loan test. If you do, it will not complete correctly and you will have to take it over again. Please read, and finish everything. Then hit submit. 4. If you fail the test, you can take it over up to three times per day. 5. Print the confirmation page, make a copy, sign, date, and send the original to the financial aid office at Missouri Southern State University. | |||
