PLEASE READ AND ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTION TO COMPLETE YOUR PATRON SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION:

Students who complete and submit their FAFSA by April 1st  EACH YEAR may qualify for the Access Missouri Grant. The Missouri Department of Higher Education (MDHE) receives electronic FAFSA records for Missouri residents from the federal government. They use these records to determine your eligibility, so no separate application is necessary for this grant.

Have you completed your FAFSA    You may complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov    THE DEADLINE IS APRIL 1ST.

 

Students may be awarded only one institutional or Patron/Foundation Scholarship. Patron/Foundation scholarships may replace institutional scholarships. Performance/Departmental awards may be combined with a Patron/Foundation Scholarship - however the combined awards may not exceed tuition and room and board, if residing in the residence hall.

 

Applicants must enroll in 15 credit hours per semester and complete at least 12 credit hours per semester with at least a 2.5 semester GPA the first semester of the award and a 3.0 semester GPA any additional semesters awarded, unless donor criteria states otherwise.

 

All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to non-merit factors: race, sex, creed, or disability.

 

I understand this application must be received by March 1 of each year for priority consideration.

Scholarships are issued for one academic year. If I am awarded a scholarship administered by Missouri Southern State University, I understand I must meet scholarship renewal criteria each semester.

All scholarships are subject to change without notice and are subject to review by the scholarship committee upon receipt of funds and authorization by the Board of Governors.
