Excellence Scholarship

Eligibility:
Excellence Scholarships are awarded directly to entering Freshman students by Missouri Southern on the basis of Act composite score and class rank with an Index between 140 and 159. To calculate your index online, click here. Contact the Scholarship Office at 417-625-3161 if your index number is 140-159 and you have not received an Excellence scholarship acceptance certificate. (If your index number is 160 or higher, see section on Presidential scholarship.)  It is renewable up to eight semesters if the student earns a 2.5 g.p.a. the first semester and a 3.0 g.p.a. each semester thereafter. (This is not a cumulative g.p.a.). The student must enroll in and successfully complete 12 hours each semester. The Excellence Scholarship will not cover any deposit, rental or student activity fee. This scholarship may be stacked with the Non-resident service area scholarship if you reside in the residence hall.
Amount:
$1,300.00 per academic year.
