Presidential Scholarship information

Presidential Scholarships are awarded directly to entering freshman students by Missouri Southern on the basis of Act composite score and class rank with an Index of 160 or higher. If you would like to calculate your index online, click here. Contact the Scholarship Office at 417-625-3161 if your index number is 160 or above and you have not received a Presidential acceptance certificate. This scholarship is renewable up to eight semesters if the student earns a 2.5 semester g.p.a. the first semester and a 3.0 g.p.a. for each semester thereafter (this is not a cumulative g.p.a.). The student must enroll in and successfully complete 12 hours each semester. This scholarship must be used within one year following graduation. The Presidential Scholarship will not cover any deposit, rental, or student activity fee. This scholarship may be stacked with the Non-Resident Service Area Scholarship if you reside in the residence hall.

$1750.00 per academic year.
