Now a bit about me and the things I like. There are a lot of things I enjoy. Gardening, reading (especially mysteries), jig saw puzzles, doing HTML, and animals are just a few of those things. I worship sarcasm like a religion and have kind of a warped sense of humor. I love playing on the net and chatting with my friends. I like watching T.V. Things like the Learning, History, and Discovery channels, especially. For years I watched a couple of soaps, Another World and General Hospital. Another World is no longer on and I haven't seen GH in quite some time. I'm sure the plots are still the same.
I believe I was born in the wrong century. I love the outdoors. My idea of heaven is sitting on the porch of a cabin in the woods, looking out over the water at sunset and listening to the sounds of nature. No rush, no phones, no "civilization", just peace and serinity. I love to paddle a canoe around a quiet lake at dawn and watch the day breaking over the trees. Yup. Heaven.
Music is a big thing with me. I like most types of music but recently have been listening to mostly New Age, thanks to my good friend Roy, and Native American. I also love Pink Floyd, Celine Dion, The Neville Brothers, Billy Joel, Phil Collins, CCR, Fleetwood Mac, John Denver, Santana, Pavarotti, Melissa Etheridge, Mannheim Steamroller...... the list could go on forever.
The thing I was most surprised to discover that I love is learning. I somehow squeeked through high school, graduating in 1964. Now, too many years later, I finally decided that I want to get a college education. Before Fall of '95 I had never set foot into a college classroom. It was all I could do to get out of High School, for crying out loud. But here I am, an Anthropology/Sociology major with a concentration in Native American Cultures not to mention an Archaeology minor. I'm at the beginning of my Senior year in Skidmore's UWW. I'm taking one or two courses at a time and transferring them back to Skidmore. I'll probably be 150 by the time I get my degree, but that's ok. I have also started collecting small blue and white glass pieces and American Indian pottery. Now all I need is a million dollars and I'll be all set!
