I've been blessed with some wonderful friends. I've been very, very fortunate in that restpect. I'll tell you a little about a few of them.
Roy Vallillee - Roy and I have a lot in common. One of those things is gardening. I talked him into trying roses during the summer of '97. Now he's hooked. He got back at me by introducing me to perennials (I had only attempted roses). He also grows orchids in his home near Ottawa, Canada. Amazing! He has an addiction to his Christmas Village collection. He and his wife, Bernie curl (that's a winter sport, or so he says). He loves the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Roy and Bernie are without a doubt the best of the best. Peg Tacardon lives in Saratoga Springs, NY. I don't know what I would have done without her when Tom passed away. I go back to New York every year to visit her
Sharen Brown - I met Sharen here in Missouri and we clicked right away. It's like we've known each other forever.
Sabine Cramer - Another Missouri meeting.
MY OTHER FAMILY - I am a proud member of a stellar group who have banded together to form a sort of family. We call ourselves the Peels and Cores (it's a long story). I'm Olive aka Ollie. We all met in the old newsgroups RATSA "General Hospital" posts and RATSM "Another World" and "Days Of Our Lives". I'm honored to be "The Keeper Of The Family Info" and "Sitter For The Family Dolly" (don't ask). I get to keep the records for our 100 or so members. The funny part is that somehow this group of people from all over the world have come together and actually formed what is essentially a family. We all care about each other and are always right at the other end of our keyboards for support, help or just plain fun. It just goes to show you that friendships don't have to die just because the thing that brought you together no longer exists.
