Book Rental/Returns

A student's booklist may be found online at www.mssu.edu by accessing the LION-LINK. Your booklist will specify the rental textbooks and purchase textbooks requested for your classes. Summer rental textbooks may be picked up at Textbook Rental in the lower level of Billingsly Student Center beginning Tuesday, July 10, 2006 and only after the first 50% payment installment is received or financial aid eligibility is determined. For all classes requiring rental textbooks, a fee of $6 per credit hour will be assessed to your account at the time of checkout. Students enrolled in 6 or more hours may charge purchase books and supplies to their bookstore account.

Rental Textbook Returns

Fall 2006 rental textbooks must be returned no later than 10:00 A.M. Monday, Dec. 18, 2006. A book drop box will be available inside Billingsly Student Center on the second floor entrance for after hours and weekend drop-off from December 11 through December 20. Rental textbooks not returned by 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 18, 2006, will be charged to student accounts at the retail price. This fee may be reduced to a late fee equal to the current rental fee when returned after this time through Wednesday, Decembere 20, 2006. Students in Internet courses must have Fall rental textbooks returned or postmarked by Wednesday, December 20, 5:00 P.M. Books not received or received with a later postmark will be billed to the students account for the retail price of the book.
