More accidents, more CDs stolen from vehicles

1. Stolen Property

    11:45 a.m.

Security was notified Nov. 16 about a student s vehicle that was broken into. It was reported that 20-30 CDs were taken from the vehicle. The officer asked the student if the car was locked, and he stated that it was, but the back window latch was broken.

The student said the car had not been driven in about a week. No suspects have been named.

 

2. Damaged Vehicle

      4 p.m.  

   

Security was notified by a student Nov. 18 that her vehicle may had been hit while on campus. She didn t realize the vehicle had been damaged until she had the car serviced by a mechanic.

The mechanic said there was damage to the tail light assembly and a dent to the driver s side front fender.

 

 

3. Damaged Vehicle

     11/19/2002

      1 p.m.

 

A student contacted security that her vehicle had been hit by another student in the Blaine Hall parking lot. The student was picking up her roommate when another student backed up and hit the left quarter panel.

More excessive damage was visible to the first student s vehicle.
