Students go on rampage - with water gun

1. Obnoxious Behavior

    11:30 a.m.

A call went into security by a student who was sprayed by a substance with a water gun. The student said he and some females were walking to their vehicles and were sprayed by an unknown substance.

The male student followed the car to the residence halls and wrote down the license plate number. Security traced the information and contacted the owner of the vehicle. Three students were involved in the prank, and their names would be handed over to the dean of students.

 

2. Harassment

      8:40 p.m.  

   

A student contacted security she has received a series of harassing phone calls from an unidentifiable male student.

The female said the first call occurred two weeks ago. She said the caller used a variety of sexual innuendos and sometimes yelled at her over the phone.

 

3. Vehicle Damage

     10/2/2002

      2:25 a.m.

 

A student reported to security her red 1991 Ford Escort was hit earlier in the day. She said when she returned to her vehicle, she noticed scrapes on the left front bumper.

Security asked the student if she knew whether or not the damage could have occurred anywhere else, but she was certain it happened on campus because the vehicle parked next to hers was very close.

4. Personal Injury

      9:50 p.m.

   

Security was notified Oct. 2 about a student in Blaine Hall who may have attempted suicide.

When security arrived, several students were surrounding the student who was known to take herbal sleeping pills. Her boyfriend, however, said she hadn't taken any this night. He also said she had been stressed during the past couple days.

After further investigation, it was determined the student did not have any alcohol or drugs in her system.
