Missouri General Education Assessment (MoGEA)
As of September 2013, candidates seeking entry into a Missouri educator preparation program must pass the Missouri General Education Assessment (MoGEA).
This assessment includes four subtests: Reading Comprehension and Interpretation, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, and Writing. Examinees must pass all four subtests.

Test fee: $49 for all four subtests, or $25 for a single subtest. Additional fees may apply.
Candidates may only register for the four-subtest option one time. Missouri Southern charges an additional fee of $15 if registering to take all four-subtest; $10 for each individual subtest. All fee must be paid before testing occurs.
Important ID requirements: You must bring to the test center one piece of current, government-issued identification printed in English, in the name in which you registered, bearing your photograph and signature. If you do not meet the required ID requirements, you will NOT be allowed to test. *After completing the online registration, test takers must pay the MSSU sitting fee prior to testing. Pay at Hearnes Hall Room 105 Bursar's Office.
NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TEST WITHOUT PROOF OF PAID SITTING FEES.
