Welcome to MSSU! We have a Southern Welcome for Freshmen scheduled for June 10 for the fall semester.

Southern Welcome Location:  Billingsly Student Center (BSC)

Check in -12:00-1:00  

Program begins at 1:00 and concludes at 5:00

           Welcome and Overview of agenda 1:00 
           Parent Session 1:30-2:30 (Corley Auditorium)
           Student Enrollment 1:30 (BSC 3rd floor)
           Check Out begins at 2:00 (BSC 3rd floor)
           Dorm Tours 3:00, 3:30 & 4:00 (McCormick Hall)

Things you can accomplish at Southern Welcome…
                                                    get enrolled
                                                    reserve textbooks
                                                    get a Student ID & parking permit
                                                    receive your housing assignment and roommate information
                                                     take a dorm tour        
                                                    speak with a financial aid counselor about scholarships and FAFSA                                                     meet with the Bursar's office to set up a payment plan if necessary
                                                    find out how to apply for jobs on-campus 

Things you will need to bring…
                                       a photo ID
                                       your license plate number (in order to get a parking permit)
                                       a completed medical history form, TB form and a copy of your shot record    

Things you need to have sent to the MSSU Admissions office ….
                an official high school transcript
                     (student athletes will also need to send an official transcript to the NCAA Eligibility Center)
                an official college transcript of credits earned through dual credit.
