Finance and Economics

The department offers a major in Finance and Economics (BSBA) and minors for the Business major and minors for the non-Business major.

The BSBA in Finance and Economics is designed to prepare graduates for careers in financial institutions, corporations, financial planning firms, government, and other public and private sector positions, as well as for graduate study. Majors choose one of four concentrations: Economics, Certified Financial Management, Chartered Financial Analyst, and Personal Financial Planning. Link to Catalog.

The department of Finance and Economics hosts the Edward Jones Investment Center, a real-time, state-of-the-art learning lab. Students have the opportunity to enroll in the Portfolio Management Class and manage a portion of the University's Foundation funds.
