The Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) partnership with Université Quisquéya (UniQ) in the areas of accounting and finance focuses on the strengthening of both human and institutional capacity.

HUMAN CAPACITY GOALS

1. Haitian nationals will receive scholarships, under the proposed program, to attend higher education institutions

2. Haitian nationals will complete exchange programs conducted under the proposed program

3. Haitian nationals will be trained under the proposed program

4.  Haitian nationals will participate in workforce development programs, supported by proposed program

5.  Haitian nationals will complete workforce development programs supported under the proposed program

6. Haitian nationals will directly benefit from the proposed program

INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY GOALS 

1. Organizational improvements that strengthen the institutional capacity of Haitian higher education institutions will occur as a result of the proposed program

2. Activities will be conducted at Haitian higher education institutions, under the proposed program, that address regional, national, and local development needs

3. Workforce development opportunities will be created through public-private partnerships under the proposed program

4. Modernized course curricula and course offerings will be created that strengthen the institutional capacity of Haitian higher education institutions to respond to workforce development needs as a result of the proposed program
