Missouri Southern State University (MSSU) is a four-year liberal arts institution serving nearly 6,000 students. Position openings:

Biology Faculty Microbiology (Full-time):

The Department of Biology and Environmental Health at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri, invites applications for a faculty position beginning in August 2016 in the area of microbiology and related coursework as well as the initial biology courses for science majors.  Rank and tenure status dependent upon qualifications.  Doctorate in biology or related field is preferred but ABD will be considered.

Biology Lecturer:

Adjunct Instructor in Biology:

Missouri Southern Biology Department is seeking an Adjunct Instructor who will be able to teach Microbiology for the 2016 Summer Semester.  The qualified candidate must have a Master's degree or higher degree in Microbiology or related field.  Applicants should submit  curriculum vitae with the names of three references, and unofficial transcripts to FacultyVitae@mssu.edu.
