2008-09: As a sophomore Kline has continued to run well in the
National ranks for the Lions … she was again Honorable Mention All-MIAA placing
15 at the MIAA Championships … also helping the Lions defend the South Central
Regional Championship running with a time of 23:07 … Kline used her best time of
19:11.4 to help Southern to a Second Place finish at the Annual Southern
Stampede … she also had a good finish at the NCAA DII Cross Country National
Championships again finishing with a time of 24:55 at Slippery Rock, Pa.
2007-08: Kline was a consistently a top runner for the Lions opening the
season in a four mile race finishing 18th … She helped the Lions to four 1st
place finishes where she had her best finish at the MIAA Cross Country
Championships placing 19 earning Honorable Mention All-MIAA Honors with a time
of 24:15.44 … at the South Central Regional Championships she helped take home
the crown with a time of 23:42.8 which helped her and the Lions move to the NCAA
DII National Championships … her best time of the season was at the
Missouri-Illinois Border War where she ran 19:43.16 ... ran in 1 mile at Tyson
Invitational with a time of 5:20.42 ... finished behind Lion Kimi Shank 3000m
run at MIAA Indoor Championships with time of 10:25.84 ... also ran in 5000m run
at MIAA Indoor Championships at a time of 18:29.26 ... during outdoor season ran
in 1500- and 3000-meter runs ... had a personal best of 17:42.66 in 5000m run at
FSU Snowbird Invite ... also ran in 3000m Steeplechase at MIAA Outdoor
Championships with time of 10:31.08
2006-07: did not run during cross country season ... indoor
season, ran in mile and 3000m ... posted a best time in mile of 5:29.86 at MIAA
Championships ... outdoor season, ran in both 1500m and 3000m ... ran in top
three in 1500m with best time at Southern Stampede
In high school: Was an all-state runner in cross country ... helped
lead track and field team to a regional championship and three conference titles
... set school records in the 800m, 1600m and 3200m run ... as a freshmen ran on
Oklahoma All-Star Track team ... also participated in basketball
Personal: Born January 4, 1988 in Stillwater, Oklahoma ... daughter of
