FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Joplin, Mo. -- Senior Jentri White has been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII squad with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average in Art. Performing well in the classroom is nothing new for White, as she is a two-time member of the MIAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll and a two-time MIAA Presidential Scholar honoree. White currently leads Missouri Southern this season with three assists, which would mark the third time in her career that she would have led or be tied for the team lead in assists. She has started all 17 matches this season and has scored one goal. Last season, White dished out a team-best four assists with one goal scored. White and the Lions will next play at Northwest Missouri State on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 31) at 2 p.m. in Maryville, Mo.
