Seven additions announced for women’s soccer
Four from St. Louis area ink with Lions

With 14 first-year players, Missouri Southern’s women’s soccer team was one of the most improved teams in NCAA Division II in 2004. In the upcoming 2005 season, the Lions will again have a young, but skilled nucleus.
Head coach Trevor Wachsman today announced the additions of seven new women’s soccer student-athletes for the 2005 season.
“This is a very strong recruiting class,” Wachsman said. “We’re extremely excited to add this group of quality student athletes to the program. They will be great representatives for MSSU both on and off the field.
“We definitely had some holes to fill after the departure of this years senior class,” Wachsman continued. “I think we addressed those issues and really added to the depth of the great group of individuals that are already here. I believe that these new players, the current players, and myself are looking forward to the future and can’t wait to get started in the fall.”
