adds Division I transfer Klingler, a 6'0 post, is a transfer from Division I Bradley University where she played in all 30 games last season for the Braves. Klingler will have one year of eligibility with the Lions. A native of Lawrence, Kansas, Klingler is a 2005 graduate of Lawrence High School where she was her team's leading scorer and rebounder at 15.3 ppg and 10.6 rpg her senior season. Klingler was a first team All-Sunflower League selection in both of her junior and senior seasons. Klingler originally enrolled in Coffeyville Community College out of high school where she helped the Red Ravens to a 53-13 record in two seasons, including a 30-4 mark as a sophomore. She was an integral part of two Jayhawk Eastern Conference regular season titles and helped her team reach the Region VI Championship game in both 2006 and 2007. She averaged six points and five rebounds as a freshman and eight points, six rebounds and three blocks as a sophomore. She averaged three points and three rebounds per game last season for Bradley. "Megan brings us a post player with back to the basket and guard skills," Mitts said. "She is extremely competitive and tough-nosed. She knows the game well and she has played on very successful teams at both the high school and junior college levels. She is a key sign for our program in that she is capable of being a dominant force in the paint for us. We believe Megan will bring a lot to the table for us because she is a complete player who is productive on both ends of the floor." Klingler is the daughter of Anthony and Rebecca Lyles and William and Valinda Klingler, Megan was born Feb. 16, 1987 in Frankfurt, Germany. She will be a health promotion and wellness major and chose Southern over Pittsburg State and Rogers State.
