Katie Gage is in her
first year as an assistant coach for the Lions after a four-year
playing career at Missouri Southern.
Gage spent four seasons playing for coach Willis as an outside hitter. A native of Lamar, Mo. Gage was a four-year letter winner and two-time all-conference and all-district performer for the Lamar Tigers of coach Ann Landrum. A three-year starter, Gage earned first-team all-conference and all-district accolades in 2004 and holds school records for digs, including the career mark of 738. She also set school game and match records for kills and participated in basketball and track & field, setting the school shot put record. Gage earned a degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Missouri Southern and is currently in the radiology program at Southern. |
