Nicole joins the Missouri Southern staff as a student assistant after a stellar four-year playing career as a Lion. A three year starter for the Lions, Greninger scored 8.3 points and pulled down 2.3 boards per game as a senior. As a junior, she averaged 6.8 points and pulled down 3.5 rebounds a game, reaching double figures eight times, with a season-high 19 points against Northwest Missouri State in January. She also made a team-best six three-pointers (6 of 11) in the win over the Bearctats and grabbed a career-best nine rebounds in a win at Missouri-Rolla. As a sophomore, Greninger averaged 5.6 points a game and hit double figures five times and was the Wilson/MIAA player of the week on Dec. 16. She appeared in nine games as a freshman. A 2002 graduate of Webb City High School, Greninger earned all-state recognition and was a McDonald s All-America nominee as a senior for the Lady Cardinals. She started all four years at guard and finished with 1,489 points, 803 rebounds, 464 assists, and 313 steals. She was named to the all-conference, all-district, and all-area teams each of her four years and was also a four-year member of the track and softball teams, being named all-conference, all-district and all-area teams her junior and senior years. She was second-team all-state as a junior when the Lady Cardinals finished runner-up at the state playoffs.Greninger will graduate in May from Southern with a degree in Biology.
