With nearly 10 years of athletic training experience, Amanda Wolf is in her fourth year as assistant athletic trainer at Missouri Southern State University.

Wolf came to the Lions after two years as the head athletic trainer at McPherson (Kan.) College. There, she worked with 14 activities at the NAIA Division II institution and taught courses in the physical education department.

Wolf previously worked as a graduate sassistant trainer at Fort Hays (Kan.) State University, where she assisted with 16 NCAA Division II activities.

Wolf, a native of Nevada, Mo., graduated from Missouri Southern in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in health promotion & wellness. While a student at MSSU, Wolf served as a student athletic trainer under former head trainer Marty Conklin and helped with 17 Southern sports and activities.

She earned her master's degree in health, physical education and recreation, with an emphasis in exercise science and sports administration, from Fort Hays State in 2002.

Wolf and her husband, Kyle, currently reside in Webb City.
