Lions hosting car wash to help Katrina victims

The Missouri Southern State University men’s cross country/track & field team will look to provide aid to those whose lives were impacted last week by Hurricane Katrina.

The Lions will hold a car wash on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Karen Rutledge State Farm Insurance office at 616 E. 32nd Street in Joplin. All proceeds from the car wash will go to the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.
