11th indoors in the weight throw at the MIAA Championships ... season best mark in the weight throw
indoors was 49-11.75 ... placed 10th outdoors at the MIAA meet in the hammer
throw ... season best mark in the discus was 121-11 at the PSU Open ...
season-best mark in the hammer throw was 144-10 at the University of Arkansas
John McDonnell Invitational ... was named to the MIAA Commissioner's Academic
Honor Roll.
2004: Charted his season
best indoor marks in the weight throw (46'-0.75") at the Sooner Indoor
and in the shot put (34'-2") at the KU Relays ... had his best outdoor
season marks of 33'-4" in the shot put at Pittsburg State, 131'-8"
in the discus at Central Missouri State ... had a season-best 148'-3"
in the hammer throw at the MIAA meet.
In high school: A four-year letterwinner in track & field
for the Nevada Tigers of coach Robert Watts ... was conference and district
runner-up in the discus as a junior, going on to a 12th place finish at
the state meet ... also a three-year letterwinner in football ... earned
all-district honors on the defensive line and was a three time all-conference
performer.
