2006: Earned
All-MIAA honors in the high jump (sixth, 6-4), 400-meter dash (sixth, 50.93) and
as part of the MSSU 4x400-meter relay team (second) ... also competed in the
triple jump, finishing eighth in the MIAA ... was part of MSSU's distance medley
relay team that set the school record and earned an NCAA-II automatic qualifying
mark for the national championships, where it finished 10th ... season best high
jump mark was 6-5.50 ... season-best 400-meter dash mark was 50.52 seconds in
the MIAA preliminaries.
2005: Earned
All-MIAA honors indoors in the high jump with a runner-up finish at 6-7.5 ...
also all-conference as part of the mile relay and distance medley relay teams
that placed third at the league indoor meet ... had his best indoor high jump of
6-8.25 at the MSSU/Radio Shack Invitational ... was also part of the indoor
school record setting mile relay squad (3:22.62 at Univ. of Arkansas) ... was
third in the MIAA in the high jump outdoors, finishing with a mark of 6-6.75, a
season best ... also competed in the 400-meter dash, with his outdoor season
best time being 49.84 and his indoor best 51.65.
2004: Was an All-MIAA performer
outdoors in the 4x400-meter relay after earning all-league accolades indoors
in the high jump with a fourth-place finish (6-4.25) ... his best jump of
the outdoor season was 6'-4.75" at the Texas A&M College Station
Relays ... his best jumps of the indoor campaign came at the University
of Arkansas and at the University of Oklahoma, both were 6'-4.75".
2003: Earned all-conference during the indoor season when he placed
sixth at the MIAA meet with a jump of 6'-3.5" ... his best mark of
the outdoor season was 6'-2" at the Pittsburg State Open.
In high school: Was a district and state champion high jumper
for the Sarcoxie High School Bears of coach Josh Phillips ... recorded personal
bests of 6'-8" in the high jump and 51.1 seconds in the 400 meters
... placed first at the University of Missouri All-Comers meet and second
at the MSSU Baymont Inn/Fazoli's Invitational in 2002 ... was state runner-up
in the high jump as a junior.
