2006-07:
Helped guide the Lions cross country team to an 18th place finish at the NCAA-II
National Championships in Pensacola ... finished with a time of 32:45 at the
Division II Championships ...also ran in the Oklahoma State Jamboree finishing
with a time of 27:33 ... in the indoor season Davis ran in the 3000m 800m and
the mile runs ... his best time in the mile was 4:29.93 at the University of
Arkansas ... did not run during the outdoor season
2005-06: Was
among the Lions top two runners through much of the cross country season ...
finished fifth for All-MIAA honors at the conference meet, helping the Lions to
the team title ... indoors, competed in the mile and 3000 meters ... his best
3000-meter time was 8:52.69 at the MSSU/Radio Shack Invitational ... in the
mile, he charted his best clocking of 4:15.36 at the University of Arkansas
Razorback Invitational ... finished ninth in the MIAA in the mile run ... was
part of the MSSU distance medley relay team that broke the school record and
qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships, where it
finished 10th.
2004-05:
Indoors, he earned All-MIAA honors in the 3000-meter run and as part of the
distance medley relay team ... finished fifth in the MIAA in the 3000 with a
season-best time of 8:46.53 ... also ran the mile and 5000 meters ... did not
compete in the outdoor season ... Cross Country: Was part of MSSU's
national-qualifying team and competed at nationals ... finished 34th at the
South Central Regional and 51st in the MIAA meet.
In high school: A four-year
letterwinner in track & field and cross country for the Potosi High
School Trojans ... was conference, district and state champion in cross
country ... helped Potosi to state titles twice ... also a member of the
Trojans state championship 4x800-meter relay squad.
