2005-06:
Competed indoors in the 60-meter hurdles and long jump at the University of
Arkansas meet in January ... his time in the 60 hurdles was 11.66 and distance
in the long jump was 20-8.50.
In high school:
A four-year letterwinner in track & field ... earned all-state honors in the
triple jump as a junior and again as a senior, finishing seventh at the state
meet both years ... was track team MVP three times and football MVP two years
... played numerous positions for the EHS football team ... was named EHS
Athlete of the Year in 2005 ... part of the school record-setting 4x400-meter
relay team ... helped his team to the conference track championship three times.
