2006-07: Was top pole vaulted for Lions earning a trip to Division II Indoor National Championships … earned All-American honors finishing fourth in the pole vault and posting a mark of 16’4” … posted a new career best of 16’6” at Fazoli’s Invitational … also held the top two marks for the Lions as top pole vaulted during indoor season and the top mark during outdoor season … broke his own personal mark at NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina … his mark of 5.15m also earned him All-American honors and a third place finish


At JCCC: Earned NJCAA Coaches All-American at the indoor championship with his fourth place finish in the pole vault at 15’1” … helped the Cavaliers to an eighth place team finish nationally … had personal best indoor mark of 15’5.5” at the Fazoli’s Invitational earning a fourth place finish … garnered outdoor NJCAA Coaches All-American in pole vault with a fifth place finish clearning 15’6.25” … earned All-East Jayhawk Conference and All-Region VI honors with a runner-up finish with a mark of 14’9” …set his personal best mark of 16’0” at the Cowley Last Chance Meet
 

At Oklahoma: cleared 15’7 Ό” for an indoor collegiate best at the Sooner Indoor … tied for 14th at the Big 12 Indoor Championships … cleared his outdoor best at the Michael Johnson/SBC Invitational placing sixth with a mark of 14’11”
 

In High School: Coached by his father, Jeff … earned four varsity letters in track and field, three in footbal and three in basketball … was the Kansas Class 4A State Champion in the pole vault his junior and senior seasons … placed fifth at Kansas 4A State Track Championships as a freshmen and third as a sophomore … posted a personal best fo 15’7” during his senior year … helped lead basketball team to Southeast Kansas League and District titles during his junior and senior year … those teams finished third as a junior and fourth as a senior at the 4A Kansas State Basketball Tournament … was named to the First-Team Class 4A Kansas in basketball as a senior and honorable mention as a junior … was two-time All-Southeast Kansas League performer in basketball … also as a senior was named All-Southeast Kansas League in football … was also an Honor Roll student at Chanute High School
