2005-06:
Competed in the shot put throughout the indoor season ... had his season-best
mark of 46-10.75 at the University of Oklahoma.
2004-05:
Finished 11th at the MIAA indoor meet in the shot put with a season-best throw
of 45-5.75 ... outdoors, he placed 11th at the conference meet in both the shot
put and the discus ... had a season-best mark of 127-7 in the discus at the MIAA
meet and a mark of 47-1.5 in the shot put at the Emporia State Relays.
In high school: Was a three-year
performer as a thrower in track & field for the Herculaneum Blackcats
of coach Steve Drinen ... an all-state, all-conference, all-district and
all-sectional thrower in the shot put ... also lettered in basketball and
earned the team's Blackcat Award in 2003 ... attended Jefferson College
for one year out of high school.
