Lions add Hansen to men’s soccer roster

Missouri Southern State University head men’s soccer coach Kiley Cirillo has announced the addition of Jon Hansen (Wichita, Kan./Northwest HS) for the 2005 season.

Hansen is a 6-foot-5 and 175-pound goalkeeper from Northwest High School in Wichita. As a senior, he played every minute of all 18 games. Hansen began the season by playing the first six games as the Grizzlies’ starting sweeper, but moved to goalkeeper for the final 12 contests. He helped his team to the city league championship and to a runner-up finish at state as a junior.

Hansen, son of Brad and Jan Hansen, is the brother of former MSSU two-year player Jeff Hansen. Jon’s sister Andrea has played two years of volleyball at Bethel College.
