FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 3, 2008 Lions finish third in rain-shortened Mo. Intercollegiate Final Results Sunrise Beach, Mo. - Missouri Southern freshman golfer Andy Hogenmiller (Washington, Mo.) shot a two under 142 to finish in third place and help the Lions to a third place team finish at the Missouri intercollegiate. Final round play scheduled for today was cancelled due to heavy rain in the area. Hogenmiller went 72-70 yesterday in the first two rounds of the tournament. David Eddy (Carl Junction, Mo.) finished tied for 13th at 150, while Seve Smith (Webb City, Mo.) was tied for 24th at 152. Chris Needham (Springdale, Ark.) shot a 157, while Taylor Griffith (Carthage, Mo.) shot a 159. The Lions will be back in action on September 15-16 when they travel to Pittsburg, Kan. to compete in the PSU Invitational at Crestwood CC. |
