Southern men finish 14th at Oklahoma State Jamboree

Complete Results

Stillwater, OK -- Dustin Dixon finished 41st out of 189 runners and the Missouri Southern cross country team finished 14th, fourth among Division II teams, at the Oklahoma State University Jamboree.

Arkansas captured the team titles followed by Abilene Christian, Oklahoma State, Colorado Mines and Tulsa to round out the top five.

Dixon led the southern contingent followed by Bret Musser at 57th with a time of 26:46. Brennon Benkert finished 86th with a time of 27:24, while Isaac Garcia was 89th at 27:28 and Kyle Davis was 91st at 27:31. Anthony Reed finished 110th at 28:09. 

The Lions will be back in action next weekend traveling to Edwardsville, Illinois to compete in the Missouri-Illinois Border War hosted by Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.
