sophomore G Tyler Ryerson, after Pittsburg State had pulled to within
six points, 42-36, with 16:54 to play. From there, Missouri Southern
outscored the Gorillas 21-11 over the next 11:38 and put the game away.

before Jones' thunderous dunk sparked the Lions to finish off the
contest.

to his 28 points, had 10 rebounds. Ryerson finished with eight assists
for the Lions and he moved into fifth place on the MSSU single-season

junior F Daniel Blair and junior F Ed Morris, who went a combined
16-of-23 at the free throw line. Senior G Eddie Jackson, guarded through
much of the night by Ryerson, was held to 12 points, eight below his
season average. Morris posted a game-high 16 rebounds for his fourth
