Pittsburg, Kan. - Record breaking Missouri Southern senior wide receiver Colin Bado has been picked as a preseason All-American as named by Don Hansen's Football Gazette.

He broke DeMarcus Mathes' single season mark of 69 and topped current Denver Bronco Rod Smith's career mark of 158.

He led all of Division II with the 88 catches and set a career high with 12 catches for 134 yards against Washburn late in the season to break the career mark.

Bado was a second-team All-MIAA selection last year as a junior and an honorable mention pick as a sophomore. Bado and the Lions will start the season on August 30 at 7 pm at Haskell University in Lawrence, Kansas. The Lions' home opener is September 8 at 6 pm against Harding.
