FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Joplin, Mo. - The Southern Arkansas Muleriders used an offensive explosion of a combined 40 runs in two games to sweep the Missouri Southern Lions Saturday afternoon (Mar. 1) at Joe Becker Stadium. The Muleriders defeated the Lions 22-4 in the opener, then 18-3 in the nightcap.
